Great public beaches ; The 11km hiking trail is breath taking (takes a leisurely 4.5hrs to walk) and usually has very few people on the trail. Our favourite place to walk the dogs.
(ps: don't be too surprised by the nude beach about 1km from the parking lot , on the trail)

The iconic fort located downtown Halifax, is surrounded by boutique restaurants, shops, and bars. Its a great view of the city , from the top of the hill, and its hard to miss if you are in down town Halifax.
