What an awesome food affair in this area. You want cheap and local? No problem! Head to Tonghua street and you can get a bowl of noodles for 60 nt. You want posh and sophisticated? Take a stroll to the Taipei 101 area and have a drink with a view of the city!
Every single pizza is music to the taste buds! My favorite is the spinach, egg and ricotta! The Italian owners makes all the desserts himself. Hard to choose just one so why nosy choose both the tiramisu and gelato?

Great tea. I like the milk bubble tea and the ginger milk tea (but this is served only in the winter). The King's tea will make good presents to take home.

Very yummy burgers and even more yummy fries. Causal little place that is perfect to grab and burger and fries as you watch the world go by.

Famous Taiwanese Meatball 通化肉圓. ( not really meatballs). Choose the foods they have cooking at the front. One has taro inside with a sweet sauce (very good). The other has meat inside. (very QQ texture) Or try the soup. It’s thick with fine noodles and other goodies. All very traditional dishes.

Try some traditional dessert. The bases are grass jelly, tofu and Ai Yu （愛 玉。 Then pile on the toppings. I like mine with taro and sweet potato balls, peanut and freash taro chunks.

A local casual restaurant. My favourite dishes are the steamed or seared cod and the bitter melon with duck egg. A bit heavy on the oil like most local casual restaurants but all the dishes I have had are good.

For those who are vegetarian (vegan) or those who just doesn't want to eat meat at the moment. Most go for the stinky tofu but I like the wonton soup (or dry) and the braised meat on rice. Don't forget the side dishes in the fridge that are self served.
