Come here to enjoy an Authentically Disney, Distinctly Chinese experience! Shanghai Disneyland has many elements that are unique to this park and is worth visiting in your visit to Shanghai. There are many entertainment offerings (Mickey's Storybook Express Parade, Captain Jack Sparrow's Stunt Show and the Nighttime Spectacular are my favorites!) and attractions that utilize amazing and forward thinking technology. Great for all ages!

Come here to create your own clothing. 3 floors of stores showing off their fabrics and offering to make you whatever you can think of. I have had my favorite sundress copied in silk as well as had a qipao (traditional Chinese dress) tailor made. Be sure to bargain on price and have fun! Tip: shops on the 2nd and 3rd floor often offer slightly cheaper prices because their store rent costs less.

Come here for unique Chinese gifts that are not your "typical" souvenirs. Last time I bought Shanghai Christmas cars, gorgeous Shanghai watercolor notepad, unique wrapping paper and other goods. Has some amusing propaganda merchandise as well.

Captain's Bar (on the top floor of the hostel) is a great place for a view of the Bund with more of a chill vibe than other bars/clubs on the Bund. Drinks are relatively inexpensive and they do serve American fare.
