Hands down BEST place to go jogging, this former railroad line was re-purposed to be a linear park, the urban oasis crosses through 4 chicago neighborhoods (wicker park, Bucktown, Avondale and Logan Square) and is 2.7 miles long. the best part is there is a rubber pedway that drastically reduces the shock to your joints and back while you run. Great sightseeing, people watching and exercise! And its FREE!

Bloomingdale TrailHands down BEST place to go jogging, this former railroad line was re-purposed to be a linear park, the urban oasis crosses through 4 chicago neighborhoods (wicker park, Bucktown, Avondale and Logan Square) and is 2.7 miles long. the best part is there is a rubber pedway that drastically reduces the shock to your joints and back while you run. Great sightseeing, people watching and exercise! And its FREE!
