Midway is an East Atlanta favorite! They have a really comprehensive beer list with great seasonal options, and their bar food is delicious and reasonably priced. If you aren't a beer person, their cocktails are great, too. Come for a drink and a burger, stay for the opportunity to pet a cute pup on the patio.

552 Flat Shoals Ave SEMidway is an East Atlanta favorite! They have a really comprehensive beer list with great seasonal options, and their bar food is delicious and reasonably priced. If you aren't a beer person, their cocktails are great, too. Come for a drink and a burger, stay for the opportunity to pet a cute pup on the patio.
This little gem is in a nondescript little parking lot. Look for the mint green door! Gaja has some of the best Korean food south of Buford Highway, and some of the coolest vibes in East Atlanta. Come with your whole crew (or with a date!) and order several dishes to share. Wash down your beef bulgogi and kimchi fried rice with sake or some of their dangerous cocktails.

Located in the historic Poncey Highlands neighborhood, Young Blood Boutique is DANGEROUS! Every time I stop in, I inevitably find a candle, print, or necklace that I cannot live without. It's a really lovely spot to pick up a gift or two; they have everything from jewelry made in the US, to leather goods, to the yummiest smelling candles, perfumes, and body sprays you could possibly dream up. Poncey Highlands is highly walkable, so wear your comfy shoes and explore!
