This is like wonderland for little ones. Not good for pre-teens or teens. Eaglewood Amusement Park would be better for teens. Storybook Land has a castle and some rides for smaller children. They also have a petting farm and children can feed the deer and goats. It's a bit pricey, $27 per person and not that many rides but for Christmas, it's decorated beautifully with lots of lights making it look like a magical place. It's 30 mins. away.

We love Wildwood! It's a fun boardwalk. It's about an hour drive but I'm sure you will enjoy it. That's what's wonderful about New Jersey, there are so many fabulous boardwalks!

You can also take the ferry across the ocean to DE and spend the day at the Delaware beaches.

Tanger Outlets are off the Boardwalk in Atlantic City. Great place to go for back to school clothes shopping. Remember that in New Jersey there is no sales tax on clothing. If there is something that you might need last minute, Target and Walmart are only a few minutes away. Walmart is closer than Target. Target would be about 10 mins away, whereas, Walmart is only 5 minutes away.

Parks & Nature
I really like Graveling Point beach which is right over the bridge in Osborne Island. Take Radio Road to the end past the Great May Marina. It's a really small beach and it's free. I like going there because usually I'm the only one. At night you can see Atlantic City lite up. Go during low tide, otherwise, the sandy beach disappears when it's high tide. Since it's a public free beach, there are no life guards.
Lake Absegami
Great hiking trails, canoe and kayak rentals. It also has a swimming beach.
Great Bay Marina is lovely, it's almost at end of Radio Rd. Can't miss it. There's a big sign on the left side of the road. The marina also has a little restaurant that serves breakfast and lunch.

If you love animals, this place is for you. It's about an hour and half drive but it's worth it. The alpacas are adorable!
