The food is very good, and they offer some ethnic favorites such as lefse dishes. They also have desserts as big as your head (ok, well maybe close!) that truly define "Life is short. Eat dessert first!". Go hungry.

It's close, and the food & ambiance is a bit more upscale than a typical resort bar & grill. Nice for special occasion meals. They also have live music, fish fries and a full bar area separate from the restaurant seating. Outside seating by the creek as well.

Chrissy makes amazing desserts! The treats you find in the guesthouse are usually from Bloomer Bakery. I've officiated many weddings where Bloomer Bakery provides the sweets and I always hear compliments as I walk among the guests.

The drive around Lower Long Lake on our road in the Fall is stunningly beautiful! Trees and marshland as well as the lake provide explosions of color and a not-so-hidden Sasquatch if you know where to look for him.

It can be common to hear loons around sunset, and owls during the evening and early morning. Occasional spottings have included raccoons, a bobcat and a snapping turtle at the time of this writing.
