In the evening the parking it tough. Please note that most parking lots are not attended and you pay a box. The neighborhood has a problem with scammers trying to pose at parkign attendance to get money upon entry-- just read the signs.

The Arts District has museums, theaters, Opera House, a few restaurants. At the end of Flora is are several restaurants--The Playwright Irish pub is good. Also for a very nice (pricey) dinner try Flora Cafe which is excellent food and a very nice experience.

My favorite bar in Deep Ellum for classic cocktails. The owner is Gabe Sanchez and a very nice guy. Small space and great mural on the back patio. It is easier to Uber to Deep Ellum on weekend evenings due to tough parking. Look up the address as the front of the bar has no sign.
