For weekdays, gopala hari is a nice option of Indian food. For 24 reais (~15 dollars) you are very well served with salads, beans, yogurt, juice, main course and a dessert.

Oscar Freire street has the high end stores of São Paulo. The best of this street and my personal advice is that very good restaurants are located in its crossings.

One of the choices for supermarket, is better to go by car. By foot there is a near market at alameda santos (behind conjunto nacional shopping mall) and in Frei Caneca (about 4 blocks).
