Food Scene
It is close if you want a meal. It is ok/good food the service is less than desirable each time we have been there. We have had the "Veggie Burger" , Burger, Mac and Cheese, Salad, Chili and all were ok. Long wait time.

It is delicious and has great Asian food and Vegan fake meat dishes and Vegetarian so food for everyone. Reasonably priced. I had the Orange Vegan chicken and it was great. The Kung Pao Chicken was spicy and good.

It is good German style bakery items. Authentic and not too sweet. They have sandwiches and pizza there and both were fantastic! Great place to eat.

It has so many hikes and great trails to travel. There is water and desert, the colors are amazing. Bring lots of drinking water!

Water! The lake is declining and in a few years more than likely will not be around. The sights are great and the lake is fun.

Escalante is amazing with trails to hike for weeks. You need to get a lottery ticket to gain access and the Park Service gives them out every morning. Do not go without letting a park ranger know where you are. Slot canyons/terrains that you can easily get very lost in.

Escalante in general is beautiful. If going into the hikes in the interior must get a lottery ticket given out by the park service. Do not go into slot canyons without notifying ranger where you will be. Very easy to get lost in. Harsh terrain.

They have tours and hands on petting with animals. They have a small gift shop and all proceeds go to the animals. The volunteers and employees are amazing and knowledgeable.
