This St. Paul restaurant is well-loved by many generations. We've had great service and a warm welcome from attentive staff. Once the weather warms up, we look forward to checking out the new rooftop patio.

This well known and often visited local micro-brewery near the U of M is only a short drive or bike ride away from our place. Surly gets much credit for starting the MN craft beer boom due to it's taproom license bill (Surly Bill 2011). It offers a large beer hall and has popular brewery tours. Outdoor seating (when open) is abundant for relaxing and playing yard games.

This is where Minneapolis really became a big city with its milling history. The bridge is beautiful with its many arches, and Saint Anthony Falls is right next to it. Watch the waterfall and look at the dominant skyline. Guthrie theater is very close, go inside and ask for the endless bridge. This is a great view of the Stone Arch Bridge, and historic Main street on the other side of river. Go there next for a great drink at Aster Cafe and catch some live music.
