Home port of the flagship Niagara from the war of 1812. Day sails during the summer and reasonable. Check their website to see when she is in as she does sail the Great Lakes. The museum is really interesting too.

Voted best freshwater beaches in the USA! The interior of the park also has hiking trails and there is a lagoon system to kayak or canoe. Be sure to check out the environmental center at the entrance...I can arrange a personal tour if you wish. Boats available for rental in season. There is also tournament bass fishing. Many people come here for smallmouth. Launch point for perch and walleye and also ice fishing. 2nd best sunsets after Hawaii. 13 mile multipurpose trail for running, biking or just a walk. Part of a flyway so our fall waterfowl migration is incredible with many birds wintering over. Incredible birding here, our warbler migration is not to be missed!
