Yes, it is opened now and walking distance from home 15 min. This is the closest to the home, that I walk there.
From home walk east to Orange Ave left (Stop sign), 3 blocks up make a left to Greenleaf Ave and enter gates.

From home walk east to Orange Ave left (Stop sign), 3 blocks up make a left to Greenleaf Ave and enter gates.
This is a great way to see Hollywood from its hills… and all it cities beauty.

The Brush Canyon Trail is one of the shortest hikes to the Hollywood Sign.
The 2.8-mile path is a wide dirt road with a steady incline. Some parts of the trail get pretty rocky—they can be pretty challenging if you’re not wearing proper hiking shoes, so come prepared.
The best part about the Brush Canyon Trail is that it’s not as crowded as other Hollywood Sign hikes. It goes without saying that the views at the top are as gorgeous as ever.
