The Røk Runestone (Swedish: Rökstenen) is one of the most famous runestones, featuring the longest known runic inscription in stone. It dates from the 9th century. There's also an exhibition about the early settlers of this part of Sweden. There's a small café and also a gift shop.

Visit mountain Omberg located next to Lake Vättern. There are several beautiful hiking trails with varying difficulty. There are also trails accessible for wheelchairs and prams. You can also drive by car around the mountain and stop at various viewpoints.
Near Stocklycke Hamn there's a zipline that you can try out. Booking has to be made in advance.
It's also possible to rent kayaks.
