Start from the trailhead of pine brook road in Dresden NY - East shore of Lake George. This is a moderate hike 2.5 miles to the summit. Sweeping views of lake George and the high peaks. Starts out on a fire road and climbs very gradually. About 3/4 miles before the summit it becomes steep. In the winter snowshoeing or microspikes recommended.
