It is popular...for the visitors, probably a must-do. However, be forewarned--they use a lot of Magic Sarap flavoring in their sauce (MSG/Ajinomoto). In fact, I would venture to say that every restaurant that is locally owned and operated uses a ton of MSG in their cooking.

The pizza and calzone are pretty good and the price is ok. They also feature some other italian dishes...pastas, etc. Usually, if you arrive after 615/630 pm, you will have to wait for a table and the won't serve food at the bar, which is frustrating.

Good bruschetta. Pool table and comfortable lounging area. Kawayan has a french chef and features delicious upscale meals. There is also a french bakery with real baguettes, pastries, etc.

Rent a moto or scooter
There are many places to rent a moto or scooter. Just be aware that "slow is pro." There are many accidents due to dogs, bad drivers, going to fast, etc. GL is a small place, so what's the hurry?

Don't drop in on someone who is already catching the wave. Smile and say 'Hi' to everyone. Be super friendly. Share wax, rash guards, stickers, tee shirts, etc. with the locals.
