When you need to fight off the absurd humidity, jump in the car and head to North Chick Blue Hole. This is an easy trail with a ton of places to stop and swim. We would recommend stopping by a Subway or Bread and Butter (both a mile down the street from the house) for a sandwich to take with you.

If you happen to be in town on the first Thursday of the month, the museum offers free admission to its permanent collection. The viewing of the special exhibitions is about $5.
