our favorite for swimming and hiking. We enjoy a short loop hike from the upper park, down the rim trail and up the gorge trail.

Buttermilk Falls State Park
Nice swimming, easiest park to get to.
Don't forget to go the overlook, but enjoy a lazy day and a swim at the lake. Nice playground near the lake, too.
