The Lloyd Center MAX (light rail train) station is the stop for our neighborhood and about a 12 min walk from our house.
The MAX and bus are both part of the TRI-MET public transit system and tickets are good for both options.
This MAX stop will take you directly into downtown going west or all the way to the airport going east!
The tickets cost $2.50 for a 2 hour pass or $5.00 for an all day pass.
The MAX stop has a kiosk where you can purchase tickets with a card and no cash is needed... the bus, however, requires exact change in cash or you can use the TRI-MET app and load your tickets onto that for use throughout the system.
If you don’t use the app for directions, Google Maps does a great job of getting you around using public transit.
You can see the whole city for $5.00!

The Lloyd Center MAX (light rail train) station is the stop for our neighborhood and about a 12 min walk from our house.
