A trip to Tauranga is not complete without a stroll either around Mauao (45 mins easy loop track) with it beautiful coastal scenes or climb to the top (good track 60 mins return) for panoramic vistas of the coastline from the Coromandel ranges to White Island volcano.

Beautifully scenic and fun for all ages - great kids tracks, anyone who can bike will love it!! You should access the park from Waipa Mill Road carpark which is not where the map icon has populated. There are good parking and washdown facilities at the Waipa Milll Road area along with a bike rental shop onsite, cafe and toliet/shower facilities.

This awesome mountain biking park suits all levels of ability with a wide range of graded track options and access is totally free. Bikes available for hire. Beautifully scenic and fun for all ages - great kids tracks, anyone who can bike will love it!! You should access the park from Waipa Mill Road carpark which is not where the map icon has populated. There are good parking and washdown facilities at the Waipa Milll Road area along with a bike rental shop onsite, cafe and toliet/shower facilities.
