It is possible to walk along a marked trail from the house to the castle. A new track takes you from the house to Sanguineto and from there to the castle.

Visit Florence while you are staying in Tuoro, it's a 1,5 hour journey by train from Terontola, just 5 KM away from Casetta Anna. The train will take you right to the centre of town, no need for buses. You will start seeing the famous sights just a couple of minutes outside the station.

Visit Piazza del Campo, climb the Mangia tower and do visit the Palazzo Pubblico for amazing art and frescoes. Walk through the ancient streets and enjoy the buzz. The Duomo is beautiful, both on the inside and the outside. Do remember it's a church, and dress appropriately.
