Brooklyn Deli is a local Austrian Deli serving nice coffee, brunch, lunch and dinner, and also has a deli section where you can buy deli meats, cheeses, bread etc. Worth a visit.

A cool bar at the top of Cuba Street where you can sit outside in the garden bar with a mulled wine, a warm blanket, and even a hottie. Definitely a cool place to check out one evening.

The Brooklyn wind turbine is iconic in Brooklyn, and is visible from the Village. Take a walk up to the turbine by following the signs to see the turbine up close and amazing 360 views of Wellington City. Approx 1.5 hours return. You can also drive up if you're not feeling that energetic!

Owhiro Bay ParadeThe Brooklyn wind turbine is iconic in Brooklyn, and is visible from the Village. Take a walk up to the turbine by following the signs to see the turbine up close and amazing 360 views of Wellington City. Approx 1.5 hours return. You can also drive up if you're not feeling that energetic!
Wind your way down to the City through the beautiful Central park. If not too wet, I recommend taking the dirt trail off to the left just through the main entrance off Brooklyn Road). Nothing like a NZ bush walk on your way to the City! A lovely way to start the day.

Brooklyn RoadWind your way down to the City through the beautiful Central park. If not too wet, I recommend taking the dirt trail off to the left just through the main entrance off Brooklyn Road). Nothing like a NZ bush walk on your way to the City! A lovely way to start the day.
A day walk: At the bottom of Owhiro Road, turn right towards Red Rocks. You can walk several KMs along the rugged coast line, and at certain times of the year there are seals that hang out on the rocks. Pretty cool seeing these guys up close. You will need appropriate walking gear for this one...
