Look for shorty long and the jersey horns playing or catfish lucy ! 2 GREAT bands with ALOT of talent that play locally and far and wide :)

If a good time with lots of people dancing isnt for you , stay away from this place :-D

The only downfall of this place is, it is a local favorite and gets packed with lots of people having a great time. If a good time with lots of people dancing isnt for you , stay away from this place :-D

swimming, some hiking, great family place and fun for everyone. there is picnic areas playground and the cedar creek for swimming. life guard is on duty in the summer. canoe trips down cedar creek are a blast if you love canoeing or kayaking. the water is some of the cleaned fresh water in NJ and empties out in the Barnegat bay near another great park~ Berkeley island! remodeled since Hurricane Sandy wiped it out. Now its wonderful place! also the cedar creek has the Barnegat branch trailer bike and hiking path. its a few miles long and a nature lover gem!

399 Brennan Concourse FREE AMAZING PLACE picnics and swimming with beautiful views. It is located at mouth of cedar creek & the barnegat bay. It was wiped out from hurricane sandy and now its finally opened this year and is amazing. there is sprinkle water park, swimming beach, docks for fishing and crabbing, picnic and pavilion, playground. you can see the seaside bridge and amusement pier on the barrier island.
Free but its a bit of drive unless you are in the toms river area. nature center in the silver bay. but a beautiful park and good hiking trails.

Beautiful beaches in a more quiet residential setting then seaside heights. Further then lavalette, ortley, seaside height seaside park and island beach. Parking can be tricky. i dont think there is meters but the spaces to park are scarce somedays

Amusement rides. Cost money... alot of money. if you have kids....Tons of money, insane amounts of money. LOL but still so fun and its all about the boardwalk fries and orange creams soft serves!! beach and games close by food as well.
