Lovely walk through Llanddwyn beach to the tidal island of Llanddwyn, The name Llanddwyn means "The church of St. Dwynwen". Dwynwen is the Welsh patron saint of lovers, making her the Welsh equivalent of St. Valentine

A Great day out, 400 steps down to the lighthouse with spectacular views on the way, but don't forget, you have 400 steps to climb to get back! Well worth a day out on a clear and sunny day. The cliffs surrounding the area is a RSPB nature reserve , so bring your binoculars with you.

If you have an interest in engineering and bridges, then the Thomas Telford centre is worth a visit, but take a walk over the Menai Suspension Bridge before you visit the centre to appreciate the work that had gone into constructing the bridge.

May to Mid August is the best time to sea any Puffins, as they only visit the Island during breeding season. Worth a trip during this time of the year!
