The best bakery on the island! They have a donkey and few rabbits, cats inside the bakery and a huge Gajyumaru tree right across from the bakery. They use local organic ingredients and the place is very peaceful. I recommend this place for guests who want to eat good bread and have a relaxed time in the nature!

American Village is a popular spot for tourists. You can make any kind of shopping; grocery, amenities, souvenirs, clothes, Okinawan goods and more. They also have a movie theater, the only Ferris Wheel in Okinawa, restaurants and bars, you name it! There are many kinds of restaurants there. Okinawan food, Japanese food, American food, Thai, Italian, French, Chinese... everything. They have massage places and nail salons as well.

Sunrise and Sunset here is absolutely amazing. It's a very nice walk around the cape, you can sometimes see turtles and rays from the cliff! They have beaches, restaurants and they also have parks for children to play!

Sunabe area is very famous for nightlife! They have bars, clubs, Karaoke, Izakaya (Japanese style bar) and more. The neighborhood is very safe, and you can park your car along the Seawall so you don't have to worry about the parking either!

Parks & Nature
Sunabe Baba beach is where all the locals families go take their kids to play! They have playground for the kids and the water is very shallow so it is very safe for children to play. It's better than Sunset beach in American Village, and there are not so many tourists! There are places you have breakfast and brunch near the area. Gordies is a famous burger restaurant, just 5minutes walk away from the beach!

It's better than Sunset beach in American Village, and there are not so many tourists! There are places you have breakfast and brunch near the area. Maeda is very famous for snorkeling and diving!
I recommend snorkeling, since there are too many people for diving... If you want to do diving, please let me know so I can organize a dive tour with a local dive shop!

Ikei Island is very beautiful! There is the Kaichu-Doro on the way, which is famous for its ocean view on both sides of the road.

Not so many tourists visit the Hamahiga Island! There is culture and nature mixed on this island. One of the most beautiful beaches I have seen in Okinawa is located on this island, behind the Salt Factory! The water is amazingly clear and it's a sandy beach so it is very safe!
