My favorite restaurant when we lived in the Heights—Ava Crowder is my favorite cocktail in the city (warning: I do have singular taste in food and drink though—must be my perculiar unamerican British tastes ;) ). Long waits and can be loud, but oh so worth it! I especially recommend the whole fish, pepper pasta, and charboiled octopus-yum!
