Brunch by Day, Restaurant by night. This is fantastic Australian style brunch, and on some evenings also a tapas style (fusion) restaurant. Fabulous food, warm, friendly, great cocktails and great coffee. Love this place!

Voted number 1 brunch place in Amsterdam. Every single omelette combination you an imagine, plus a bunch of other eggy delights! OK coffee. Great prices. A favourite.

A brilliant refurbished theatre, turned in to a three level buzzing cafe and restaurant. Open from 8am until 10 or 11pm at night, it has a great selection of brunch, lunch, dinner, salads, cakes, great coffee, wine and beers.... and coconuts! Great big place with tables, for laptops, big cushions and couches.

Best rotisserie chicken!!!! And all happily raised and fed and sourced. Add some great cocktails and their apple sauce, you have a simple, delicious place to eat and meet friends. Right on the corner of our street.

A little like a gastro pub. Really great ribs and many other dishes. As the name suggests, great meat. Great drinks. Very busy funky vibe. You need to book for one of their two evening sittings.

This has become my favourite place in Amsterdam. It's in the middle of a beautiful garden!! So green. The building is modern, and it has FABULOUS BRUNCH. Same menu as its sister restaurant. Absolutely perfect if the weather is nice to sit outside in the huge terrace, and if not gaze in to the garden from your cosy table inside.

Try the 'Kapsalon', a new Dutch specialty originating in Rotterdam (really just a fancy name for a Kebab in a bowl without the pita and with chips instead!) (and without the tacky neon lights at the kebab shop ;)). Yummm!

Probably likened to Central Park in New York. This beautiful park is the central place for Amsterdammers to recreate. Take your bike for a spin through the park and enjoy all the things going on. In summer there are many festivals and events going on.

A great conversation may ensue about all sorts of things :) This one is a little one around the corner from the apartment. The larger one is closer to the centre.
