Great spot for BBQ or picnic. Located along scenic Alisal Road, just a short drive from anywhere in the Valley. It's a lovely setting for small or large groups. A quick walk up the main park road connects you to a dirt trail and a small bridge crossing beyond which you'll find the Nojoqui Falls (pr: Na-ho-wee).

The drought has water levels a low levels that make geology visible that is normally submerged. You can also hike to the Lake if you park at the Sweetwater Trail head (located at the Bradbury Dam view point). Approx. 3 hours round trip.
Hike Lovers Loop trail for a moderate 1.5 hour loop. For those with more stamina looking for a strenuous yet incredibly scenic hike, start at the same trailhead and hike Grass Mountain trail - especially in the Spring when the wildflowers are in bloom.
