Parks & Nature
The Wilson Lake Trail is pretty popular, about an hour's uphill scramble to an alpine lake the sight of which will take your breath away. The Wheeler Peak Trail is something every hiker should do at least once, taking you up to the highest elevations in New Mexico. I love taking the Chair Lift (from June to October) up to the base of Kachina Peak and then hiking back down to the Bavarian Restaurant. Obviously, the Ski Valley is a winter destination, too!
