Yellow House does not only have delicious food ranging from Momos to Pita, but also host weekly Farmers' Markets on Sundays and monthly Arts Markets.

Cafe U is my most favourite restaurant in the area, which has just moved to Bakhundole (map is not correct!) about 15 Min. walking distance away.
It has the most amazing Japanese home-cooked style food and menu, lovely service and space...try the Agedashi Tofu Set and Plumb Soda!

Babar Mahal is a renovated Rana-Palace with stunning architecture. It is peaceful and features delicious restaurants and beautiful handicraft shops varying from small souvenirs via clothing to Tibetan furniture. One of my most favourite places in the city!
