If you are in Ottawa you need to try Shawarama (the unofficial dish of the city), this strip mall has one of the better Shawarama's close to our house.

The community centre has a small but clean and well equipped gym. There is also an outside basketball court, soccer court and baseball diamond. There also used to be free access to computers and at one time a printer (not sure if it is still there).

It is free on Thursday afternoon like almost all the major museums in Ottawa (after 4 or 5 pm I think). Wonderful exhibits and after the museum your are a short walk away from the restaurants and bars of bank street.
