Just down the hill from our condo (3 min. drive or 10 - 12 min walk) and simply some of the best Thai food I have had since we left L.A.! It is owned by a husband and wife and during the busy season you can expect to wait for your food. Call ahead for take out or to give them a little time to prepare in restaurant dining. ***Also, on the weekends they do an insane breakfast with breakfast burritos, pancakes etc. (plan to call ahead and see if they have the full breakfast menu) 435.990.1491

***No liquor license due to new ownership***. A more upscale menu with a full bar served only when ordering a meal. The Best Western acquired the lodge recently and I understand it is good, but we have not been there yet since the acquisition. Parowan is a 30 minute drive down the mountain from Brian Head. There's some great little places to eat. We love The Parowan Cafe. Great diner food! The only restaurant we have been to that we did not like and would not recommend in Parowan is La Villa Mexican.

On your way to or from Brian Head stop in Cedar City, which is approx. 45 minutes from Brian Head and the largest closet city. Lots of restaurant choices...the BEST is the BBQ joint called Charlie's Southern BBQ. They have won pretty much every BBQ title in UT! Delish! The best Mexican we have found is Lupita's Mexican Restaurant with seriously the BEST Mole! And they have a chips, salsa and bean bar (and yes, terrific margaritas!). They are one of the few places open on a Sunday..... And lastly, a charming little coffee house in downtown Cedar City called Grind is a don't miss. Great breakfast and lunch fare, delicious espressos, cappuccinos etc.

The best place to Apres' Ski in Brian Head, UT! Gets crowded so make your way to the bar for a place to sit prior to 3:30PM on weekends. They do occasionally have a band...service can be slow...You're on Mountain Time!

Literally 10 - 12 minute drive from the condo. A great way to spend the afternoon exploring the beauty of this area. In July come and enjoy the Wild Flower Festival.

Located just as you enter the city limits of Brian Head (coming up the mountain from Parowan), Apple Annie's is a quaint little store for food items, wine, beer and souvenirs. There is even a resident deer that hangs around begging for food! P.S. - They have AWESOME fresh baked bread!!! I am obsessed with the whole wheat!
