Best coffee around our district. It´s always busy and unfortunately there´s no tables to sit on. But in the spring/ summer you can hang out in front of the café in the sun.
They also have a second café in Altona where you can sit and enjoy gorgeous cake but I´d say the atmosphere in Schanze is much nicer. :)

Easy going bar for beer and shots, it´s not very touristy. This area is already St. Pauli and in spring and summertime its always busy around there. There´s a lot of bars and kiosks here so people come here to hang out in the streets as well.

Easy to get around with. U3 (yellow line) and S-Bahn to go to Hauptbahnhof/ Dammtor and the city center.
Very close by.
You can also get off at U Feldstraße and walk through Schanze to go shopping

It´s really easy to sign up. There´s an app and loads of stations around Hamburg. Right in front of our house and also at U/S Sternschanze and most favorite places to go.
Per person you can hire 2 bikes and I think 30 mins are for free. Then you have to be at a next station or you pay little money to get around.
Make sure to bring the bikes back to a station after you have finished!
StadtRAD Hamburg hire station - Schopenstehl / Old Fish Market
