This would be one of the greatest museums in any city where it not in NYC. Overshadowed by it's Manhattan contempories this is no less of an essential stop when you're in town. The food and cocktail scenes on nearby Vanderbilt and Franklin Ave's make it worth the time too.

What a collection! And the location is spectacular too. Take the time to explore the nearby Meatpacking District and be sure to hike up the HIghline while you're here.
