This restaurant has been in Gatlinburg for years! It's an iconic steakhouse that serves you a hand-picked (by you!) cut of steak. They also have an incredible salad bar too. Delicious!

The later you go, the longer the wait! People line up outside to get a taste of their pancakes. Every kind of pancake you can imagine, but my favorite are the buckwheat! They only take cash there, but they have an ATM inside the restaurant.

If you're heading into Pigeon Forge for the day, don't miss out on the Pigeon Forge Deli. We found this little gem while The Mountain House was under construction and we can't get enough of it. If you're a pot roast lover, be sure to get their pot roast sandwich! It's delicious!!

This is a great little place to stop in for a light lunch - they have hot dogs, sandwiches and some incredible homemade cakes! You can also grab a milkshake here too!

This is the highest peak in the Great Smoky Mountains. It's a bit of a drive to get to it, but the path leading up to the lookout tower is paved (also steep). The views can be amazing from Clingman's Dome, but take a jacket or coat with you! The temperatures can often be 10-20 degrees cooler there than in Gatlinburg.

This is the highest peak in the Great Smoky Mountains. It's a bit of a drive to get to it, but the path leading up to the lookout tower is paved (also steep). The views can be amazing from Clingman's Dome, but take a jacket or coat with you! The temperatures can often be 10-20 degrees cooler there than in Gatlinburg.
This is a great place to picnic and just enjoy the great outdoors.

Located close to The Mountain House and starting near the Sugarlands Visitor Center, this is a 4.2 mile hike along Historic Settler Road. It's a moderate hike with an elevation change of 1,270 feet.

We recently visited Anakeesta and loved it! You ride a chair lift to the top of a mountain where you'll find neat shopping, restaurants, food trucks, a mountain roller coaster, zip lining, a treehouse, a tree canopy bridge and a beautiful flower garden. The views of Gatlinburg from Anakeesta are amazing, but if heights aren't your thing, you might want to check it out before purchasing your tickets!
