Great place to have breakfast/brunch/lunch. I love the pancakes. Good coffee. If you want to see a different side of Oslo, I recommend to take a walk up there, a 10-15 minutes walk from the apartment. Discover the old working class areas Kampen and Vålerenga with charming wooden houses and apartment buildings. Galgen also have a nice back yard.

If you want to see a different side of Oslo, I recommend to take a walk up there, a 10-15 minutes walk from the apartment. Discover the old working class areas Kampen and Vålerenga with charming wooden houses and apartment buildings. Galgen also have a nice back yard.

An artist run gallery with changing exhibitions of contemporary art. The functionalist building is one of the most beautiful in Oslo. I love the view to the park. Also a nice café with great pizzas. Try the spinach pizza. They also have a film club.

See the art of painter Edvard Munch, famous for the paintings "Scream" and "Madonna". He's one of my favourite norwegian artists. His paintings are beautiful and expressive. They change the exhibitions regularly.
