If you have kids, this is a must see! They have a tour to show how they make their ice cream! Lots of fun! Then you can drive down the road and go to the Cold Hollow Cider Mill. These activities are about 40 minutes away from our cottage. Great for a rainy day!

DELICIOUS cider donuts! You can stop here after you go to Ben and Jerry's! They are just down the road from each other. Lots of beautiful artesanal mustards and jams etc for sale too!

Kids love a water park! If it's a rainy day and you can't swim in the pond, we have guests who have enjoyed this place a lot! It's 1 1/2 hr drive.

This is not really an aquarium or zoo...but has all things "Lake Champlain" in it. Lots of cool activities for kids! Located on the gorgeous Lake Champlain in Burlington. About an hour and 15 min drive.

Church Street is a closed street shopping center with lots of great shops and restaurants. It's in Burlington, a BEAUTIFUL VT city which sits on Lake Champlain. An hour and 15 min drive. Mae a day of it!

Montpelier is our Capitol. There's the Hunger Mountain Food Co-op there for organic and delicious food shopping. For breakfasts we have Down Home Kitchen SO good! There's the Three Penny Tap Room for amazing French Fries, burgers and VT brewery beers, there's Positive Pie for GREAT pizza and music at night too. It's a walkable city, and you will find many many more fantastic restaurants and there's also The Savoy Theater independent movie house, totally cozy theater as well as The capitol Theater for regular blockbuster style movies. Montpelier has it all!

This is the best venue, and right in our neighborhood! There's music Thursday - Saturday nights at the Whammy Bar which is in the back area at The Maple Corner Store! Some of the best musicians in new England love to stop by and play here because it's so cozy and the audience is great! You can bring the kids too! And Nancy makes the BEST Margaritas!
