Our home is a three minute walk to the Royal Randwick Shopping Centre. At this shopping centre you will find Woolworths supermarket, Harris Farm fruit and vegetable store, Healthy Life health food store, and Liquorland bottle shop. There are also a variety of specialty stores, cafes, and shops.
The Shed Cafe makes a great coffee and also has some great food for breakfast, lunch and snacks. It is a three minute walk away on the ground level of the Royal Randwick Shopping Centre. When you walk into the Centre from Avoca Street you turn to the left and you will see The Shed Cafe a few shops down.

One of my favourite places. Good middle eastern menu. Their pita bread is fresh from the oven. There's nothing like it I've tried so far. Also their coffee is the best!

Our favourite late night snack is a Kurtosh (same name as the store) - a spiral shaped sweet pastry similar to a donut, and you can choose your filling or toppings. Try Nutella! And Kurtosh closes at 10pm each night! So it’s good for a late night craving Woo hoo!

Parks & Nature
Our closest beach is Coogee Beach which is a 20 minute walk, 10 minute bus ride, or 5 minute Uber/Taxi ride away. Coogee Beach has lots of shops, cafes and restaurant options as well as a great place to roll our your beach towel and go for a swim. REMEMBER: on Australian beaches it is safest to swim between the red and yellow flags. The section of beach between the flags has been deemed safe by the beach lifeguards and they will be watching this area if anyone comes into trouble. If you ever get into trouble raise one arm to get their attention and they will come help you.
