This place is especially great for brunch. I always feel like I'm in Sydney or Brooklyn rather than Barcelona. It's split over three levels and has a roof terrace. Go early, it's popular and busy.

Possibly our favourite tapas restaurant in Barcelona and it's in our neighborhood (el Borne). Unpretentious and reasonably priced. Excellent wine and try the calamari, oxtail, the bravas and the foie.

A lovely gallery and a great place to view and buy Catalan and Spanish artwork. It´s a beautiful and peaceful space and the exhibitions are mostly always exquisitely curated.

This great locals bar is little gem, it has a classic vibe with a retro appeal and even though it's on three levels, it always feels small and cosy. Their "ginger" cocktail is lovely...think pims !
