This is in many ways an iconic restaurant. Great food, a spectacular scene in the middle of an old butchery and in the heart of the meat packing district. The restaurant has a very serious wine card with very good prices compared to the quality. Go there for drinks or food - reservation needed

The house is located at the foot of the historic Carlsberg brewery, where it all started. Carlsberg has guided tours here and plenty of very cosy and nice bars with a decent kitchen serving food. During summer, great place to rest for a BBQ, the park is lovely and a "secret spot" and stables with horses, the beers and Jacobsen micro brewery is surely worth a few hours

Copenhagen Zoo is a very modern zoo with plenty of activities including one of the largest playgrounds in Copenhagen, a walk through aquarium with polar bears (!!) and soon a Panda park. Worth renting a kids push trolley at the entrance. Afternoons are less crowded

Tivoli needs no further introduction - but dont go there solely for the rides as they might be a disappointment to frequent thrill seeekers as myself. However, great food available and spectacular scenery during evening hours with all the lights.
