The road over the Beallach is the highest paved road in Britain. Terrific views from the top of the pass. Reward your self with a meal in the pub which is not expensive and always excellent. Judy serves food all day and wins the "best pub food in Britain" awards on a regular basis. Local Applecross Bay seafood freshly caught and great for families and couples. Sandy beach 4 miles past Applecross bay where the silver sand has blown up the cliffs so the local kids snowboard down! Take a drink for the kids as they will not want to leave on a sunny day with shallow warm water to play in.

32 Harbour StThe seal trips take an hour and are free if you see no seals!! Sing to them and they will come closer. The trip takes you round the local islands and in front of the farm so you can wave to any one you left reading a book in the cottage on the way back. It sells unique items of clothing, knitwear and lots of little items for gifts. Near the pier where you get the ferry to Malaig in south of Skye. Other shops near are Grumpy George, pottery, art gallery and gift shop. All worth a visit.
