The modern new Acropolis Museum has four levels, two of which hold the permanent exhibition. On Level 1 visitors can observe the Gallery of the Slopes of the Acropolis, the Archaic Acropolis Gallery, the main monuments that constitute the Classical Acropolis (the Propylaia, the temple of Athena Nike and the Erechtheion), and finally a collection of sculptures and statues from the 5th c. BC to the 5th c. AD. On Level 3 visitors will find the Parthenon Gallery consisting of an installation of the frieze of the Parthenon. General Admission is 5euros. Free entry: 25 March, 18 May (International Museum Day), 28 October.

To visit the ground floor Shop and Café, the purchase of a ticket is not required. Drinks, dessert or dishes at the Café overlooking the archaeological excavation To visit the second floor Shop and Restaurant, a free admission ticket is required from the Ticket Desk. Dishes served are based on traditional recipes and panoramic views of the Acropolis. On a daily basis traditional Greek breakfast is served until 12 noon. Quite often the restaurant offers Jazz Friday nights or Harp concerts. Dinner, drinks, music, and views.

An excellent choice to try Greek food and drinks, right next to the Loft. Also prices are unbeatable and the personnel is warm, polite, attentive and friendly!

What the shop is renowned for are kaymak icecream, Chicago icecream dessert, and ekmek. Coffee and deserts are served in an old school way that completes the experience! It is worth visiting!
It is said to be one of the best places to get a souvlaki in Athens.

A nice typical tavern with indoor and outdoor dining area. The outdoor one is set in a green garden and is particularly nice during the warm nights of summer. The menu lists dishes from all over Greece. Cold and warm appetisers, salads, mains (cooked, stew, grilled), deserts. The staff is also very friendly and attentive. Plus it is budget friendly.
