Nestled in the hills of the East County lies Rustic Ridge Vineyards, one of the Jamul wineries on the Lyons Peak Wine Trail. Just a short twenty-five minute drive from Downtown San Diego, neighboring Rancho San Diego and El Cajon, Rustic Ridge boasts beautiful views of the mountains all the way to the ocean and Coronado Island. Due to this wide visibility, we are often told that it is the best spot to watch the sunset in San Diego.
We offer a wonderful selection of eight wines, from whites to reds to rosé, and often offer specialty drinks such as sparkling wines and sangria. There is something for everyone, no matter their taste. We selected our grapes from regions all over California based on which region produced the best wines for each variety. All of these wines are available to try in our tasting room or while you enjoy the sunshine on the patio. We offer snacks, charcuterie, and pizza as well.

Brody’s is a family owned restaurant. Brody’s was established in 2012. All of our beef and turkey is ground fresh daily. Our buns are baked daily and delivered each morning. Brody’s has 31 taps to choose from. Two of our 31 taps are dedicated to Hard Cider slots and one of the taps is reserved for Draft Root Beer. Brody’s has 9 47″ T.V.s and a 14ft screen in our Banquet Room. We seat 125 people and welcome all ages!

It is literally at the crossroads of Indian, pioneer and present day inhabitants including the transportation routes such as Old Campo Road (now called Historic Highway 94) and the San Diego and Arizona Railroad.
The venerable stone building was built in 1885 and currently houses a museum operated by the non-profit Mountain Empire Historical Society.
