The South coast is a 10 minute drive from my house and is absolutely beautiful! Stunning sunsets, views of the South Island, and a really nice drive.

Old cinema that has been beautifully restored. 3 screens showing the latest movies. There is a great bar in the downstairs area too, called the Black Sparrow. Food and drink purchased at the bar can be taken into the movie theatre! Cheap tickets on Tuesdays.
