Ototo has a wonderfully cozy feel. The food is great and a bit more casual than Sushi Den. We used to love sitting at the bar and ordering drinks and a bunch of small dishes on date nights. The word Ototo means "little brother" and is owned by the owner of Sushi Den and Izakaya Den.

Suerte is one of my new favorite spots to catch happy hour. Their small tacos are great (always pay $1 extra for an extra tortilla - the tacos are overflowing with goodness, enough for two tacos). The atmosphere is lively and great big windows to look out onto Pearl St.

Yardbird has a great Happy Hour! Every item has a unique twist, and it is a fun place to sit at the bar and try new drinks or out on the patio near the fire-table. The savory crepes are my favorite for Brunch or Breakfast. They also have plenty to satisfy any sweet tooth.

I'll be honest here... I have a love hate relationship with Kaos. I love the food, the outdoor seating is whimsical and fun, but 30-50% of the time the crust on the pizza is burnt and the service is slow. Go here if you have time to linger and are feeling lucky. The food is really great, when the pizzas are not overcooked.
