Favourite Pubs
The Punch Bowl is a seven minute walk away from our house, and it has recently reopened after a major refurb. Great selection of real ale, and lots of eating opportunities. Highly recommended!

It's the cocktail bar for the Tyneside Cinema, great for a pre cinema outing. And the Tyneside Cinema's cafe next door does great beer and good food at a reasonable price.

It has great beer and a fantastic view of the river and its bridges. It's on the Quayside bus route so you can get on at the Theatre Royal in Grey street and see the sights on the way.

It's a huge open space full of runners and dog walkers (and sometimes cows) very close to Exhibition Park and the Wylam Brewery
