Plus, Eleni lives down the street, when she's not living at her restaurant in the Pearl! :-) Very reasonably priced, as well. Make sure you order the Saganaki! Greek cheese, soaked in cognac, brought to your table alight, to be extinguished by your server with a lemon wedge. Mmmmm....mouth watering.

Wonderfully original ice cream parlor - lots of great flavors that you just don't find anywhere! Within walking distance, and lots of artsy and eclectic shops, not to mention many food carts, along NE Alberta. A wonderful day's outing!

Great Mexican food and fun atmosphere -- with a child's playroom just off the main dining room. Been going there since my son was 4. (A long time ago!) Food is consistently good, and they will let you taste the various meets prior to ordering. They also have a full bar, and a lot of picnic benches outside, under awnings. Reasonably priced.

Food is consistently good, and they will let you taste the various meets prior to ordering. They also have a full bar, and a lot of picnic benches outside, under awnings. Reasonably priced.

It is a renovated school, turned (several) restaurants, bars w/live music, movie house, museum, and an awesome garden patio with a gorgeous, mosaic fireplace. Food is typical McMenamins...I wouldn't call it AMAZING, but it is solid and reasonably priced...great fun and lots to do for families, and couples.

It is a renovated school, turned (several) restaurants, bars w/live music, movie house, museum, and an awesome garden patio with a gorgeous, mosaic fireplace. Food is typical McMenamins...I wouldn't call it AMAZING, but it is solid and reasonably priced...great fun and lots to do for families, and couples.

A gorgeous hike - not for the beginner, or small children. Fairly steep at times, but the views are spectacular. Especially with the spring and early summer flowers.

They have a very friendly, off leash dog park, soccer field, tennis courts, and Beverly Cleary monument and playground. There is also a track and field for runners, and a public swimming pool.

They have a little bit of everything...complete groceries, with lots of organic and healthy aisles, plus a pharmacy, vision center, jeweler, apparel, electronics, toy sections, home goods, hardware, nursery, many deli counters, as well as "play land" if your child wants to play in a supervised area, while you shop.
