This is actually called Bar Boter with great view to the old part of the town and right on the river Krka. They even have a floating terrace. For a morning coffee or evening's glass of wine.

Stari grad is literally translated to old castle and this is what it is, mysterious and worth looking around. Accessible by car. You can also visit Trska gora (hill with church on top) near by for stunning views.

Postojna cave is a 24,120m long karst cave system near Postojna and it' absolutely stunning. It is the second longest cave system in the counrty as well as one of the top turism site. Cave were created by river Pivka.
It makes a great day trip and lovely for all ages because they even have trains inside the cave. When you are there why not see the famous castle in the rock near by Predjama grad.

Skocjan caves are near Postojna caves in south-west region and a bit less turisty with more of a true adventure feel to it.
I prefer this cave system to Postojna but no in-cave train here.

Zuzemberk castle is stunning and an absolute must see specialy in the summer when river Krka is warm enough to cool down in it. They have a nice restaurant by the river and volleyball pitch.

Lovely restaurant just beside river Krka for a coffee or a meal. You can just walk there all the way on a public foot path by the river. They also have yummy cakes!
In summer they have a large raft on the river you can have a meal on.

A walk that starts here takes you through the towns wood with wide path. There are great views to the town on the other side of river Krka. Walk ends with a crossing over a wooden pedestrian bridge.

It's make a lovely hike (from Gabrje) and there is a well know restaurant Gospodicna about 2/3 way from the top. You can just go to there and back down (many do this! :-)) Gospodicna or translated to Miss is a well known story of the natural spring there that will make you young ang beautiful if you drink from it. So worth to try!
If you will go all the way up the top of Trdinov vrh you will get stunning views and another restauraunt waiting for you. There is also Sv. Gera (St. Gertrude), a small 15st church.
