As well as being really well-maintained and fabulous mini-golf course it is also right by the beach. The restaurant and terrasse are a great place to have lunch or a drink. Fabulously friendly service and great specials on the plat du jour.

This is a great day out at the races whether you are are first timer or a betting aficionado. You can dress how you want and betting is easy on machines or at booths. Or you can just go and watch and enjoy the spectacle. The course is really intimate and you can see the horses up close in the ring before the race. Family friendly and compared to the UK very cheap entry, often free for kids.

Beware this is a salt-water pool which may not suit everyone! It has 2 pools one for children and aquavit and the main 50m pool is for all speeds of swimmer with multiple lanes. You need to wear a swimming hat. You can hire floats etc for kids

It is an institution and could not be more French. Order all the classics here The cote de boeuf for 2 is a must if you are up for a treat and feeling hungry! It is run by a slick team who really know how to look after you.
