If you like Sushi, this is one place to go.
Just around the corner from the apartment this place has great sushi, with a twist - they use Wagyu beaf.
It is a little pricier than your typical sushi place, but worth every penny.
It is good to reserve a table beforehand!

Just around the corner from the apartment this place has great sushi, with a twist - they use Wagyu beaf.

My favourite breakfast place - their pancakes and granola bowls are amazing and can also be made vegan.
It is a bit of a way away but worth it if you like a good deathly breakfast.
You should try and make a reservation beforehand!

If you are planning of having breakfast in the apartment I can highly recommend the handmade bread at prôt! It is a bit on the expensive side, but super cool thing is you can literally watch them make it and they have a delicious variety (from walnut to cranberries to beerbread).
Important: they are only open from Tuesday to Sunday and you better be quick - people queue to get yummy bread almost every day!

The area you will be staying is known as one of the "go-to" areas in Cologne.

38 Antwerpener Str.Zum Goldenen Schuss is a Cologne institution - it has been in the Belgian area for years and is a go-to place for many to watch football or go for a beer.
The bar scene is quite strong in Cologne and this is definitely a highlight of that scene!
This is another Bar highlight of cologne - as opposed to Zum Goldenen Schuss the Reh bar has a very cute outside area, just below the South train station.
On an evening you will find good music and a fun crowd here.

Heilandt is a high quality Coffee chain in Cologne. There is a really nice one just a few minutes walk from the apartment.
They have great coffee and a little sitting area out- and inside.

This place is idyllic and makes you forgot you are in Cologne!!
It is a beautiful place to go for a walk and leads on to bigger marks and little coffee places. From the apartment it is roughly a 15 minute walk away.
